I'm not questioning the post production! I'm questioning the Before pictures here. You can't sell a DVX with those pictures. Those are just not good enough to be a DVX image. Whatever K-Mark camcorder can do the first and the second Before picture. Follow?

I was asking if there was something wrong with the DVX or was he just lazy to do the job right? ( that was the meaning of my first post here). Was he thinking : I don't give a f*ck, I gonna fix it in post?

Nothing else. But you DVX owners, you can't swallow if some one (a DVXAE user) says something about this camcorder, and this comment isn't an ass kissing.

;D It would be impossible to do that to myself. And you are right- I am an amateur; but at least I am one that can admit it. I've posted my pics- do you have any?

Oh, and just a correction- I said nothing about using Magic bullet- however, I am both proud and impressed that you spelled it right.

That's his work flow...you have yours he has his...why the fu*k are you riffin'. You made your point you can do it in camera...great. I saw your frame grab posts and the **** still could stand some correction, it still looks video period, and that's my point white, warm, grey balance = video too me. My opinion...but i'm not trying to ram it down your throat...let it go playboy and do you. While I understand what your first post said...the topic of this post was look at my color correction, not look at my color settings. Stay on topic.

ZACH LIEN, don't you have a Magic Bullet to suck? Get one! How is your picture search?

You could teach me english and I teach you DVX but.... whatsoever.... if you are happy with those nr.1 and nr.2 Before pictures than I can't teach you anything.

This is too funny! Those screen grabs of mine was shot 2 years ago and we knew nothing about setting the master ped. We litterally took it out of the box and started shooting this short.

I see your take about the 'before' grabs and as Neil mentioned they do appear somewhat overexposed. There is nothing wrong with POST work to correct and manipulate imagery and it will take some bit of tweaking beyond a WB and Filters to achieve a variety of possible looks.

The final framegrabs are very nice and surely do not warrant this thread going in this direction. It is possible to educate and offer opinions and/or advice in a tactful manner.

Cool it with the expletives and personal attacks or your IP Address will be banned and you can hang out elsewhere.
