closed threads

It wasn't me, even though I got in the last reply... I think the thread was closed to save us from ourselves. The membership sometimes has a way of flaming up on typical "hot button" issues of society... even if it isn't politics and/or religion... and when it seems that people are getting irate and disrespectful to each other (or one sided, but from several members)... the thread has to be handled one way or another.

Read around the forum a bit... people get really mad at others for having different ideas about things... whether it's life, gear, movies... whatever. It's best to put a fire out before too many people get burned (so try to be understanding if you don't think a thread reached that point).
 
Hey, I'll admit it..... sometimes I have gotten a little steamed at things that have been said in the past...... and, without the mods here knuckling down on me......we'd have chaos. Doc=purveyor of Chaos..........sometimes.

Of course, that is when I have morphed into my evil alter-ego: Evil Doc

Or a few too many (PUI)

Be thankful DVXUser has a vigilant staff. I had my life threatened on another site and the mods had no idea. Here, professionalism should be and is the rule of the day/week/month/year/century.

Mmmmmmm, possibly........ trying to become an international evil mastermind. It's tough with today's workforce, to get good and dependable minions.

Hey Matt- I think everts meant the "Working independently with a client" thread (or possibly not), and I saw you were the last comment on the "Man flying in lingerie thread", but funny thing is- they both crash & burned at 8 pages!
Coincidence...?

My sentiments as well.

Sometimes I'll have a few too many and , this place feeling like home and kind of knowing several people, it's easy to start speaking openly maybe more than's appropriate.
I think thier doing a good job of keeping us in check. They usually just send me a PM now politely suggesting I'm crossing the line. I appreciate it too cause, it's probably time to turn on the stereo and hit the sack. It's all good. It's a good place.
