Winners and Wrap Up: TwilightFest

Congrats to the winners...and everyone that made a film for this fest. It was a pleasure watching & commenting on every film.

...and a special "Cheers" to DVXuser, the mods and sponsors that make these fests possible.

Wow. I'll have to go back and read the posts. A little stunned right off the bat. I thought Jack was in there easy to be honest. Wow.

//I can't belive it. Let me have a look see. It better be good.

We would post the official rules and theme definition, but we can't seem to find them at the moment.

Nice... Congrats to the winners and really everyone involved from all of the entrants to the mods and sponsors that make this possible. Another well done fest guys! Lossfest eh? I'm liking it. Time to start brainstorming...

Ummm, congrats to the winners. Darkline's entry was pretty up there.

But, to keep up my bad reputation, I must say, in all areas, if we are flawing anything, Jacks flawed the least, so, I'm stunned at that. Wow.

Great Jobs one and all, Congratulations! Enjoy the warmth of your success you have earned it.

The winners definitely set the bar - congrats to all the filmakers!.

No, I don't think so. Not if you've watched the past fests. And I dont mean to start something here but probably will, but that pisses me off. NO, they did not set the bar. Jack, Mark Harris, Mark Jonhson, Mac, Norm, and others (sorry man) set the bar a long time ago. Check your history, I don't mean 'you' Cambell, but everyone. Go back to the old fest if you have time and brush up.

Who says Cold Calls wasn't in the top three.

AUDIENCE FAVORITE ...

  • This is a film that was especially popular with the voters, but otherwise ineligible for competition.
  • As many of you know, Cold Calls was the winning script from ScriptFest I, written by DVXuser Member John Whalen. As his prize, the Mod Squad (made up of Barry Green, Jack Daniel Stanley, Timur and others) produced his script for him.
Ineligible for competition doesn't = 4th place. Audience Favorite kinda sorta means Top 3 with a high number of views, and ineligible for prizes. Maybe we just think members should win prizes, not mods :)

Having said that BROADCAST definitely deserved to win. There's no ambiguity here. The viewers clearly and resoundingly spoke and I agree with them.

It drove me nuts when Movie Master went around second guessing Rekdinded as the winner of Horror Fest. (Hey he's evil what do you expect) :)

So I don't want that for any other film.

Great job guys. A big grats to Broadcast. It was good, no question.

Three cheers for BROADCAST well deserved on merit and ratings with no "*" whatsoever.

I actually agree... like each and every fest there are stand-outs... this fest we had Darkline... (who's other short might I remind you was fantastic as well) and many others (including fest vets like Jack, and Ben) who set the standard for twilight fest... every fest has been the same, but as someone eluded to before, the amount of entires keeps going up, which is the encouraging part.

haha, I think ol' Rapter has set a bar of his own with that post. thanks for dropping by to take a big dump on everyone who participated in this fest, my man! Haha!
