C200: Clicking noise when starting up camera

Hi all,

I've purchased a used C200 - and all seems really good with the camera. The only weird thing i've noticed is that it makes this slight clicking noise whenever I turn it on. Is this normal? I'm going to get the camera serviced by Canon anyway, so I'll have them check that out. But just wondered if anybody else had experienced that?

mine makes some noise which may be engagement of ND or the lens is coming into play, ive not checked it out with no lens - im not worried.

It’s probably the ND being moved to the last used position.

Yes, it's the ND. Mine did the same thing. Nothing to be concerned about.

It is the camera paying its respect to the DVX100, a sign of honor in this culture. Nothing to worry about.
