**cleaning up noise

Does anyone use or recommend software that cleans up the video a little bit from using a high iso?

Thank you.

I recommend staying away from using ISO higher than 640. I personally try very hard not to go above 320.

If you are in need, I second Magic Bullet Denoiser. I've used it a few times and it works really well.

I've cleaned ISO 6400 on the 7d with Neat Video and it did wonders. Really incredible actually.

I only cleaned up ISO5000 with Neatvideo. The render times are short.

If you go Magic Bullet denoiser II, the workflow is through Grinder and you transcode the footage. Which ever you prefer.

Red Giant lets you install on multiple programs with one license. Goto their website for an explanation of the workflow I mentioned.

If you have access to After Effects, cs5+ has a "remove grain" function that's fairly effective. I just used it on some high iso footage and was surprised by how good the results look.
