"Classified" - Elton & Charli Production

Me too! We are in EDIT mode. Have a wonderful team of FX - "boulder" and Sound Design - "ZaZa" to help us through this process.

Sorry. I seem to have stumbled into the wrong room. Maybe into the wrong Universe.

But I do have access to a computer. Hehe.

Whoa - who's that in the post above me?

CHARLI!!!! Holy poo! Are you still around???? You must be ancient by now - but you have mad writing skillz. And a great t-shirt! And you're doing another film! Holy smokes - I so want to see this! A C.G. script! Holy smokaroonies! Gold! (which really means something since the devaluation of the U.S. dollar - at least that's what G. Gordon Liddy keeps telling me)

And ELTON!!!!! Wow. A truly dynamic duo! And knowing Charli, she'd grab the Batman role. But Robin's cool, too, you know? (except do the Burt Ward version - not the Chris O'Donnell one)

Fantastic!

This is very, very cool you guys. I wish you the very best of luck.

I also wish that Steve wasn't walking down the hallway right now because he's going to find me out of my ward and put me back in that stupid jacket that ties up my arms ...

No! Noooo!

Back off Steve!!!! Seriously! I'll close my eyes and make you disap

DAPHOPA! Sweetie! Good to hear from you. Don't worry 'bout Steve, I'll kick his ass - lol. One day I'm gonna fly down where it's nice and tropical and we'll do a film together... unless you sell all your gear. Toss some of it my way if you're not using it.

Progress - Elton's editing like crazy, hope to have rough cut of first act out to composer today.

Because of time constraints, because we had to fire our lead actor, because of the deadline time, we will be unable to finish this short film in time. We have some amazing shots, a solid story and there's really no reason to rush the editing process for this film fest when we can spend another week or two and get all the aspects of pick-up shots and post production work done with greater care.

Elton has done an amazing job being a one-man-band on the film set but in doing so, he's had to wear many hats and time is not on our side. Hopefully this project can be finished shortly and placed in the "user film" category and hopefully we'll be able to enter this is a few film festivals.

You all know what it is like to have to do your own lighting, camera work, editing, etc. - we lost a week with our lead actor and it's a week we can't get back. Elton has grown much since our "spy fest" film and you can tell that by the still shots. It's hard however to have to do everything yourself. We do however have a solid post production team that we hope will see the project through to its end.

Good luck everyone!

I thought I said "No toast 4U!" Bummer about missing the fest deadline. The shots so far look freakin' awesome. I know about the issues of being a one man band. I'm just glad I got everything shot early on this one. I thought I'd have loads of everything takes soooo much time.

I'll keep my eyes open to see this one when it does complete!

Yes, we had to pull out. We may give you all the "real" punch to our story. Let you know what you are really missing.

It's 5DMKII and a little bit of Super 8 (at 70fps!)

Just wanted to say I've really enjoyed the tight-knit camaraderie of everyone involved in the fest. To quote an old hack writer "We happy few". ;-)

Time and and ambitions once again were my mortal enemy this fest period. I know...lame--the ending needs to be re-shot and the film simply needs a quality post-production to really shine.

I'm really happy with the overall look/feel of the piece and the performances were good. It was tough doing the 'Rebel Without A Crew' thing this time around. I had so many people drop out of the crew that I actually had to wear every single hat. ('cept makeup...God bless Mary, she did a fantastic job herself)

The one-man-band thing gets old. It really should be called 'Idiot Without a Crew' in my case.

Thanks to everyone for checking us out and best of luck with the fest!
