Anybody see these?

I did a little snooping online and found these. Looks interesting. Could be the latest incarnation of the adapter... or maybe a beta... I dunno... Looks pretty cool either way.

Man I swear I saw one of those hooked up to a Horse that they were trying to breed - ouch - would be better if it was intended as an adapter (for the horse, anyway...)

:)

I did a search for Cinemek and it brought up various sites with the press release from 2006 telling about Cinemek accepting pre-orders "now"...
Was there ever an official announcement, why they didn´t deliver...?

Anyway, he G35 is legendary enough to hit big time when they finally deliver...

I wonder what happened to all the money they took. I was very close to putting money down also but then came the Brevis Beta program.

To me the G35 was always the Excalibur of 35mm adapters (the last thing I want to do here is to turn this thread into a "which adapter is best", so just forget my personal opinion) but not long after it was supposed to hit the market HD started kicking in hard and what was not visible on SD was visible now, so Jonathan decided to drop the static design and adopt a moving mechanism...which would be developed by Dan Diaconu (the wizard behind the MPIC adapter). Eventually the collaboration didn't go through and the last I've heard from Jonathan he was able to develop a system more Hd resistant.

I am inclined to agree. It's too bad, I rally liked their static adapter in NTSC, the DVX footage I shot with it is some of the best looking footage I have ever shot.

i guess tibby meant that the website removed the sample clips. i saw them too before. this new splash page doesnt carry them anymore.

Oh, so that's where the clips went to. I shot the tabletop stuff that is in the 3rd clip down, I haven't even seen this footage for a couple of years. Yep, the G35 made nice images.
