This is how the true professional do it:

Mostly so they can say for the BTS, "Look ma, no hands!".

The counterweights add a nice marginally-functional stylistic touch.

"But i'm a fan of the classic sour dill pickle. Enough sodium in one bite to float on water. I think that's how the Jews crossed the Red Sea. They ate such salty food they didn't have to part the waters but instead just walked on top. "
Ha!!!!

Which is how I am with a real ENG camera vs. any of these small ones. It's pretty much all reflex. Iris up or down: flick of a finger without conscious thought. More ND, less ND: roll the turret with my fingers in fractions of a second. 2-ch wireless in a built-in slot: no extraneous cables and crap hanging off the camera. Nat mic on the VF out of the way going to two dedicated ch's, no switching or going back and forth with cables. Etc., etc. But it's what I'm used to and prefer. The camera is sitting on and supported by my shoulder. My hands are available all for operating and not just holding the camera.

I'm much more of your era Run & Gun, I've spent the most time with Betacams, DBetacams, F900s, DSR500s and Arri SR2s on my shoulder shooting than I have messing about shooting video with DSLRs and mirrorless. After a year and a half of heavy shooting, my muscle memory is pretty good with the C200 and the 300 MKII also. I love my XT-3 but it cannot really be used by feel, I have to look at what I am doing and be very deliberate with the settings because there is very little tactile feedback and still a large portion of the adjustments are buried in menus other than the shutter speed, ISO and aperture.

Get to know that X-T3...it's pretty flexible. You can also swipe the screen in different ways to adjust stuff.

Not everything is going to be possible and you'll always need the menu for certain settings, but all of these cameras have come a long way.

Voter backlash if they used the eminent domain crap? They don't hesitate to run businesses out o an area if a "big fish" wants to develop, even if they know the big fish isn't ever going to do anything unless the tax payers fund it!

I don't know the details for Katz's, but other places have been landmarked or have sold their air rights so that neighbors can grow large while they are both protected and cash in. Trump famously bought the air rights from Tiffany's to build Trump Tower next door, allowing both companies to cash in. Why he named his daughter after the store.

Katz's has been around since 1888 and it's not going anywhere soon.

Well, Sony just registered a new camera in Asia. It has 5.8 Mhz wireless. Could be A7IV. Or A9II. Or ... stay tuned.

With two new telephotos - one 200-400 zoom, the other a $12,000 600 F4 prime - just released, there's a strong hint that it might be A9II. Which is a highly rated camera that is presently ranked on Page 7 at B&H (@ 24 items per page). A main contender to the BiF and action throne currently held by 1DXII.

A9 is heavily discounted at the moment, down to $3,500, a grand off its original $4,500 price.
