Chroma key test footage - Nano vs. AVCCAM

Truly impressive Key. This to me looks good enough for anything really. I did think I was also downloading the tutorial however :P

I know, and with that much hair...... This makes me excited to try it with real people. I have yet to shoot green screen. The only thing I'm concerned about is doing the same type of thing with a wide lens and full body. I fear it won't be as successful.

how's the tutorial goin? :D

I'm impressed with the keying as well and would love to look at the tutorial. I too have been having problems in AE getting what I want and would love to see another method to see if it works better.

Just saw some near finished compositions with green screen material I shot earlier this week . My green screen set up was not perfect since we were shooting head to toe in an improvised set up in a hotel ballroom, so i was pretty restricted about where i could place lights. AF footage was recorded to AVC CAM 1080 24 PH mode. The results really do look good. and no bad reports from the compositor.... I continue to be surprised by AVC Cam, but still wouldn't mind a 4.2.2 version of AVC Cam with a higher bit rate for use on the AF.

October, if you continue to get 5 hours or less sleep per night you're going to start looking like your picture!

I wish I could download and look at your test file but I'm in Iraq at the moment and the connection here stinks as bad as the country does. Hopefully I can at least grab your tutorial and gleen a bit from your shared wisdom on this. I've got some sci-fi features planned so this is important stuff. Fortunately, I've got a fantastic visual effects guy that does all of that for me, but I like to know how to do it myself.
