Choices - 5D3 Raw or BM URSA Mini 4K?

I've been waiting to see the 5D raw software graduate out of 'Beta' for a while now. Guess I got a little overzealous. My mistake.

I doubt they'll ever do that due to the legal issues. Beta implies caveat emptor. Anything beyond that would mean they're responsible if your camera bricks.
 
Alpha means "you shouldn't try this unless you're a developer", beta means "it's a bit better, but still, you shouldn't try this". Which doesn't actually mean you shouldn't try it, just that you have to be aware that they are not confident enough that it is safe (they don't want to take legal responsibility).
 
If you are interested in more latitude while you are grading, have you thought about using CLog (C100 Mk2) / SLog (FS7)? While I understand it isn't RAW, it might be an acceptable middle of the road for what you are looking for? If you choose to go with a C100, you'd also nip the issue of Canon glass right in the bud, as you'd be able to use your current lenses. What are your thoughts?
