Cheap wide angle adapter for 20mm f1.7. Suggestions?

Im looking for a decent wide angle adapter that doesnt blur out the corners of the photo/video too much. I want one on the cheap since I'm not really going to use it often. About one a month for 10mins.

I've seen zeiko 58mm threaded 0.45x wide angle adapters on ebay. I have a 52-58mm step up ring so all I would need is a 46-52 step up, but I'm wondering if this will cause the infamous circular vignette known in some cheap fisheye lenses. Hence my reason for choosing a 58mm threaded adapter to leave more room to avoid vingette.

Check the search out, this has been posted about before and there were a couple of good suggestions although I can't seem to remember which ones...

i've searched already. They only ones that were mentioned were the canon and panasonics... they are about 100.00. There was another one mentioned, but it was still in the same price range.

I'm looking in the sub 20.00 price range. I may spend a little more if something arises.

There was a cheap wide angle adapter that was very popular with HV20 users, sharp enough, you could leave in on all the time. The Merkury or Digital Optics .45x, 52mm thread. They were on sale at a Pro Broadcast Video Surplus store on ebay for $8.50! I forgot all about it, then tried it on the Lumix 14-45. It wasn't bad at all. No vignetting at 14mm. Some softness in certain corners, but usable enough to hold off on buying the 7-14mm for a little while. I bought a more expensive Tokina last month, but it has heavy vignetting and was too fuzzy.

1920 x 1080, 24p frame grabs

BELOW: It has barrel distortion close up but I kinda like it..

thanks for the heads up, I will most likely get this.

I've noticed very little or no light loss. This is one solid chunk of glass instead of multi-elements. Obviously, it's not going to be tack sharp edge to edge in wide landscape shots like a Samyang 8mm or Lumix. But if you have an actor moving around in the foreground, you might not notice too much. And the bottom medium shot looks pretty sharp edge to edge. There was no moire in the original 1920 x 1080 screen grab.

I am pretty sure I have 2 different old 58mm Wide lens adapter Japanese made. Wide and wider.
I can get in to my boxes and take them out for a test.
Let me know

Here they are on ebay from $10 and up. The only one i used is the Merkury/ Digital Optics, so I can't guarantee any other ones are as sharp or won't vignette, but for $10-20, consider it an experiment! Caveat Emptor:

Those links didn't specify brand like merkury/d.o., Since I know the Merkury ones are at least worth the 30 dollars, I'd rather not waste the 10.00 and wait time trying something unknown. lol

OK Here are the photos of a crude lens chart test for the Opteka Converter that is $30 at Amazon. The first shot is with the converter on the Pany 14-45 lens at 14mm, and the second is without the converter on. I am incredibly happy with the photo quality of this converter. If you unscrew the front, the lens is a macro also, by the way. I think this is incredible value. You need a 46-52 to screw it in front of the 20mm lens which becomes 9mm with the converter attached. That is a very small carry-on for 9mm and 20mm high quality shooting... Al

I found them.
they are yashikor Aux wide angle adapters made in japan by YASHIKA.
I can try them later next week.
