Hi guys :)

Have you got an experience with brands aka PRO1-D, New View, Green.L, or Massa ?

I´m looking for UV and maybe ND filter for Tamron 17-50 f2.8 and so far I´ve been interested in

or

and maybe something like this (ND)

but I´d like to hear your opinion, cause I have not any experience (and knowledge) about filters.

Do you think that "HD" filters are youst another try to get money out of our pockets (they can give you practically same results as traditional filters), or may some of the worth to invest money in them?

(I´ve been interested in this one, but well, I don´t trust it, even it looks great)

Could you recommend me one of these?
Any advice would be appreciated :)

What exactly are you trying to achieve with using the UV filters? Is it for protection? An ND filter or even a fader would be extremely useful for stopping light, but I've never found UV filters to be particularly useful in video.

The only use I've ever found for them is protecting the lens from kicked up rocks on a low hostess car mount. As for the UV feature not necessary. As for everyday protection, in 20 years of handling $10k plus lenses I've never damaged one - and I've never had a protective filter on. You just take care of your gear. I suppose if you're used to throwing your camera in your backpack without the lens cap on, then sure it'd be a good idea.

Avoid cheap filters like the plague.
I've purchased/inherited a few in the past and they all seemed to have a noticeable impact on image sharpness, especially a ND.8 (yes, .8), which was horrendously poor.

You'd be as well off gaffer taping a sheet of grease smeered clear plastic to the front of your lens.
