Cheap 120 fps 1080?

If you look at the specs you'll see the higher framerates come at the cost of lowered resolution.
30fps is the max frame rate at 1080p.

The 120fps resolution on that camera seems like it would be around 640x480 (though it's not specified).

The $450 Panasonic DMC-LX7 compact camera can record 1080p at 60fps and 720p at 120fps. It has a much better faster lens than the GoPro Hero3, with zoom, but the GoPro can record at higher bit rates.

GH3 does 120fps at 720p... and its probably gonna be sharper then most other DSLRs shooting 1080p.
Also the new Gopro Hero3 does 120fps at 720p at a pretty decent bitrate, but its a fixed focal length and limited controls.

If you have a USB 3.0 capable laptop/tablet, Lumenera offers an Industrial camera called the Lt225C, it uses a 2/3" 2048x1088 sensor and can do up to 170fps, the Lt425c uses a 1" 2048x2048 sensor and can do up to 90fps, and higher at a reduced resolution.

The Lt225c costs $2150, and the Lt425c costs $2950. They both use c-mount lenses.

You can read the datasheet here: http://www.lumenera.com/usb3/index.php You can also find retailers at that website.

You might even be able to do 1920x1080 at 120fps, since it is a reduced resolution, with the Lt425c, you should email them and ask.
