Cavision Viewfinder Adapter

I posted this thread in another forum with no luck, maybe you guys can help me out here.

Has anyone tried the Cavision viewfinder adapter?

It is in stock at BH but haven't found any review of it.

Please advise me if it is a good option in viewfinder adapters. I know the Zacuto is the best, but I was hoping to find something good, not as expensive as the zacuto.

Also, I want to know which one you guys think is better option between the Cavision and the LCVF adapter. I read the Hoddman is not really good, and the sock thing doesn't look very comfortable. Please let me know if there any other option.

Camera to be used Canon 7D

Thanks for your time,

Cheers

Go for LCDVF mate. I'm a Cavision, and I don't like it.
Only use it coz it came with the set.
1. 6X is very big. It's very clear, but can't really see the edge if you have another eye opened.
2. Rubber smell bad, made by cheap material.
3. You need extra space plate for the viewfinder, and doesn't line up with the base plate that well. Mighe effect if you decide to have mattebox on afterward. It happened on my system.

If you don't have much budget, yes, Cavision works, and it's very clear.
But if you have a little bit to spend, get LCDVF, and you can afford Zacuto, go for it!!

I got one because it was the only thing I could find in stock - for $160 it was 'what the heck"... didn't want to get the Zacuto until I have a 5d, etc - I posted a thread with pics saturday in this section, look for it for a review & notes.

Rubber on mine didn't smell different than any other rubber, and what smell it had seems to be gone after 2 days.
