Carson Daily shooting with HVX's

Looks like Carson Dailys show is now being shot with HVX's along with DVX's. The HVX footage looks great. If you get a chance to catch an episode, it's worth watching.
 
Are you saying for their location stuff or all of their studio shots? It seems like NBC would not settle for HVX's for studio. Can you tell us where you got this info?

They were shooting and in a couple shots 2 hvxs peaked into the frame. It looks like the HVX's are only being used for in the field shooting.

haha ya his show isn't the best, bu it's still cool to see the hvx being used on a daily basis on the show.
 
I believe that Carson Daly changed the format of his show. I'm not too sure because I don't watch it often but I saw it not too long ago and I don't think it's shot in a studio anymore. He even mentioned that he changed the format of the show in the beginning. He shoots little interviews with celebrities at different locations and what-not. The HVX's do look really good on that show.

Yep, it's definitely more interesting now and I can stomach watching it if it happens to be on when I'm editing or something. Every once in a while he'll do a studio interview, but for the most part, it's him going to different locations and doing interviews with a wide variety of people. It looks like they shoot with at least 2 hvx's and a DVX.
