HVX-M2+Stock - Music Video - Down I Go - [WARNING CONTAINS NUDITY]

Hi Justin Marx, It took a series of very short (1-2hr) weekend shoots, and I shot with the m2 and HVX stock lens.

settings, to be honest I cant remember, I just fiddled until I liked what I saw, I crushed the blacks, phased the colour out of skew and cranked the saturation,

then desaturated it in post...go figure. :p

I mainly get my look from post but the beach stuff is straight out of camera.

I'm assuming that the song was called "down I go", but what is the name of the band? After watching your video several time, the song has gotten to me and I would like to check the band out some more. Guess your video did the trick, eh? :)

band is Down I Go - track is Wasp In A Jar.

haha Im glad the video worked, they are 10x as amazing as that track.

cool!

nice quality and images...seems like you had fun doing this, yea, i can see how an office job will do this to you. i can relate!

crazy ride indeed, if somebody injected me with heroin and laced my drink with ex, i think i'd feel the way i feel right after watching this!

loved this, man. absolutely loved it.
although, the music isn't my type.

i checked out your site and watched everything. im humbled and impressed! keep up the good work!

you said in the earlier post that you phased out the color. how is it that you did that?

Sweet. Do you know where I could find more of their stuff, or any at all?
I did a search on CDNOW.com and allmusic.com, but I didn't find anything.

Hi Guys,

thanks so much for all the kind words.....it really means a lot.
sorry for the delay in responding as well..

for more of the band 'DOWN I GO' you can go here:
www.myspace.com/disastercore

they are on UK label Undergroove.

PIMP with regards to phasing out the colour, I did it in the scene settings, I can't remember EXACTLY what its called to be honest and I dont have my HVX in front of me, but I'm sure you can phase the colour temp one way or another.
