Ban Me Please!
Ok, all this waiting and talking has been making me crazy, ruining my marriage and killing my garden. I was about to give up on life when I found a new camera that might give me everything... and more than the HVX in a much smaller package. It records to a 2 gig solid-state memory card and downloads easily into my edit system without capture. Again, it's a much smaller package.

I can't wait to take it out tomorrow and get some footage with it to see how it looks.

I might even get a chance to run it on my magicqam rig this weekend.

I've got a Formatt box, I'll try and rig as well as a piece of junk Focalizzare ff. :)

On a serious note here's the link to the camera. As for specs I'm not sure, but I think it has about as much resolution as one of those old fisher-price black and white cameras that recorded to tape. :)

The video is so bad that I don't even think that it would make for decent behind the scenes. The upside is I can strap it to my helmet for sky diving if I ever take that up as a hobby. Also, it's about as big as a cell phone and water resistant.

Ooohh, that might just be the ticket. I can do through-the-window shots all day long. I'll be big-budget in no time.

Any one have an extra technocrane laying around i can use? :)

I think that it might be overkill for my usage of family picnics and strolls in the park, but I'm not sure because I can't tell what it does. It sounds more like it might be used for levitating small animals, but I'm not sure. :)

After some more testing and a bit more whiskey as Oliver picked up on, I've decided it might be a better to be patient and wait for the HVX. I'm going to just give the litte junkie cam to my 6 month old and let him use it as a teething toy. :)
