I go File>Log and Transfer and add the clips to the que. All but one made it. The status has a red exclamation mark. Is there any way I can transfer this? Thanks!

sorry to jump in after the fact, but im trying to document a handful of problems people are having with FCP...

were you log and transferring directly from the camera? or had you copied the footage to your computer first?
and were you using one card or two at the time?

i had the problem when I log and transfer in FCP from a folder I dragged and drop the contents and lastclip.txt.

yeah, what is the name of that folder? i have reson to believe this may have something to do with this situation for many people...

im on a quest to find out why so many people are having problems with log and transfer as well as the dreaded "glitch" on a mac in FCP. i have this theory that it has some to do with how people are setting up and naming their folders.

ive been transferring via drag and drop on a mac for 3+ years and i have also NEVER write protected a card. and coincidentally i have also never had a single glitch or log/transfer problem.

my practice has always been to:
- use UNDERSCORES instead of SPACES and NO SPECIAL CHARACTERS (@!#$%?\/, etc) in my folder names. just upper and lowercase letters and underscores.
(i typically use only UPPERCASE letters. but sometimes i fall off that wagon for longer or harder to read names)
- every P2 card gets its own folder insider a folder specifically to store source P2 footage.

here is an example of my process:
