Can't decide!

Okay I know there are too many threads on what lenses to buy but I am still in a bind on what to buy with my budget. I am a broke college kid just trying to shoot weddings and short narratives. Neither more often than the other. So I can't decide between a set of 3 old nikon lenses with adapters or getting something a little more pricey and newer... I already have the 7d kit lense. 28-135 and a 50mm 1.8 canon. Should I sell the kit lense and buy say a 28mm sigma and a 135mm canon or just stick with all old manual lenses? sorry if this is redundant but I just can not decide. Keep in mind ill be shooting both weddings and narrative. Thanks for all the help in advanced!

You'll need autofocus settings for shooting weddings so I'd say skip the manual primes and invest in either a 50mm canon mount prime lens with auto capability or another zoom. Weddings are about having one opportunity to get the shot right, and having to hit the 5x button to pop in and hit critical focus with your manual prime lenses will bite you in the ass in that situation. That kit lens could be good for weddings, only drawback is that it's slow. Perhaps an f2.8 zoom would be a better choice.

2.8 zoom is what i have been leaning to for awhile now but I also still want a longer lense like a 135 that isnt real pricey.
