Canon has this very neat page that has several sample videos for each Cinema EOS camera they make. There's a wide variety of categories of styles of videos to choose from as well.

They just uploaded a new video for the C100mkII called Orphan Cars.

Take a look, there's lots of fun stuff.

I haven't visited the site in a year or so and much has been added. Does Canon loan them those lenses? Those kind of gigs don't have the budget to rent that level of glass. What can you tell us about the deal?

Thanks

hey, nedcam. I honestly don't know how Canon arranges things with the people who make the videos that they post on their site. I know its not a super common thing as i've helped out several customers trying to get some kind of sponsorship and i've only seen it happen once or twice in 8 years. Even then the final product didn't make it onto any kind of Canon promotional materials. Let me know if you have any questions or if i can help in any way. Thanks.

How the heck does Canon expect to sell their 1080p and 4k cameras and cinema lenses by hosting sample videos from them in Vimeo in 720p. Doesn't Vimeo even support 4k now? The videos automatically play maximized in my browser and I have a 1080p display so my first though was whoa why is that C100 so soft... And then I realized I had to fullscreen the player to see it in small, native 720p size.
