Canon T2i Back Up Batteries?

Hello,

I am looking to buy two additional batteries for my T2i (I have a battery grip, so I want to keep that loaded with 2 and then have one backup). I came across these really cheap off-brand ones on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Battery-Canon-LP...106?pt=Batteries_Chargers&hash=item230b19ceea. Has anyone tried these really cheap knock-offs before?

I also found these really good ones on Amazon that got mostly excellent reviews, so it may be worth spending a little more to get a better product...

What do you guys think?

I would recommend these from this specific seller. I had some for my HV40 as well as my T2i and they well hold the charge even after 2-3 years.

Edit, as you're located in canada, these would be even cheaper, and free postage from ontario. Recommended seller as well.

I can vouch for the Optekas too, I bought several of them off of Amazon and they work really well. with the battery grip and 4-8 extras you can shoot damn near all day.

cheers,
Adam

You can get a 2-pack of aftermarket LP-E8 batteries here for only $4 + shipping ($5, so $9 total). They are great, I have about 6 of them, and they work identically to my Canon LP-E8 batteries.
