Canon Lenses GH4?

I own a GH2 and a BlackMagic Cinenma Camera (2.5k). I want to buy the GH4, but I have 2 issues:

1. I own a bunch of Cannon EF lenses that I would want to use on the GH4, but Metabones does not make an EF to micro 4/3 speedbooster, so my Canon Glass wont work great on the GH4 because of the crop factor.

2. Will all of my GH2 lenses work on the GH4 in 4k? I have quite a few, like the Panasonic 20mm pancake.

Any solutions for issue 1?

Thanks!

All lenses that work on the GH2 will work on the GH4. Your 20mm pancake will be great on the GH4.

There are adapters to use Canon EF lenses on the GH4, but the only one currently available that can control the lens aperture is the Redrock Micro Livelens MFT:

If you use the third-party speedboosters I don't believe you'll be able to control the lens aperture on the GH4.

those third party speed boosters look pretty good. They are much cheaper than metabones. I wonder if they will degrade the image at all or cause other issues?

for me, I need an adpater thats going to lessen the crop of my ef lenses.
Then you may need to wait until somebody comes up with a Speedbooster that can control the aperture on Canon EF lenses. Metabones was supposed to come out with it last year, but it's still not available, and nobody knows when it will be.

The only adapter I know that can adjust the aperture electronically is made by Redrock and it's not cheap. The one you link to will work but you won't be able to control aperture, it will be wide open.....also you can get an adapter that does the same as that one for about £10.

actually I lied, I got this one for £8 and it works fine. As Jaime said I don't think there is a speedbooster yet that can adjust aperture

Thanks.
Yes after some research I found this to be the case - I hope a Speedbooster appears soon or I'll have to splash out on the Redrock - I'm not liking the fact it needs additional power though. I don't want to have to start buying MFT lenses.
