So I actually ended up going for the Shogun Flame because of my strong familiarity with the system (also have plenty of SSDs for it) and the $300 savings rebate. I will of course rent the 7Q/RAW bundle when I do need the 4K/60p, which is mostly in the spring and summer for sports.
I would still love to see your slow-motion test(s) whenever you get around to it!
