Judging by the stills above, the mark II doesn't look too cool, the mark I looks too warm. Specifically the box of tea, mark II looks properly white balanced, the mark I looks like an orange fest.
Yes, there are some color differences but also a lot of improvement.
Quick push autofocus and a bigger picture at EVF are both great for framing, better ergonomy and a very quick type of work.
The bigger EVF let you far better assessing the scene in your mind, it is different thinking, framing and compositing.
The noise is much better at wdr gamma and video signal is much more clean on waveform monitor (for example if you see a test chart).
So it will be hard decision about purchase an upgrade, would be nice to see that Canon will improve color accuracy between C100 and C100 markII.
edit: I saw some pictures from A7s last week and there is a very visible rolling shutter skew effect, so I'm still very happy with C100, its colors, lowlight, NDs or ergonomy.
Saying that, I think I remember that the C100 MKI in its first steps had a slight blue tint in the cinema PP that you had to correct using for example cowpunks profiles from this very forum, but at some point they corrected it and everyone is now using the standard cinema profile ! Right ?
I think the colors on the MK2 are just fine! Did a few quick shots by the river today. Was not dissapointed at all!
James, you're further enforcing my desire to invest in the CN-E glass!
They incredibly sharp, well controlled flaring, smooth bokeh and the mechanical aspect of the lenses is very organic (CP2's feel very dry but the Canon's feel very fluid-like). I would recommend them if you can afford them! I have the 24-35-50-85. I just wish Canon made a wide angle lens in the aperture range...
