Just doing some tests with the A1...mostly in my buddies house where ill be filming later. Had to see how his house works in the daylight and wanted to play with the A1's DOF more. His house allows me to backup quite a bit. Everything indoors was shot with available light.

The crappiness of the onboard mic is apparent. Hears you loud. Hears your subjects like a whisper. Footage is nice and sharp. Did u use 24F?

24F yes. Yea onboard mic is well...an onboard mic. Most of the time I was far away from them except the part with the newspaper. The point was just to test the picture, dof, and the lighting in the house. I actually forgot to compress it without audio lol...ah well.

A1 is nice and sharp though no arguments there. I can't believe what it can do, maybe ive just been to sheltered with lower end cams for so long. :P
