I saw on B&H theres a $500 rebate for the 7d and that would mean the body would only be around $1000, but its ending on the 26th will there be another one of these?

because i really want one and $1000 is good price

You have to buy a printer that's $500

Basically ends up being a free printer for the full price of the camera.

Read the rebate form on b&h.

I have no idea if it's a good printer or not. All I knew when I bought my 7D is that I didn't need a photo printer and I've never in my life actually gotten a rebate I've mailed in.

It is a good printer. It has an MSRP of $750. It might not actually be worth that much, but it should at least be "good."

I regularly get mail-in rebates. You must be doing something wrong. Companies are much better about fulfilling them these days.

I did the math: If you bought both and sold the printer and received the rebate, then the final cost of a 7D body would be ~$1400. Maybe less.

The only thing I do wrong is expect to actually get paid. :D Trust me. I'm extremely meticulous about following every little detail because of this.

I've got a panasonic rebate for my hpx170 for instance that's been 'approved and in processing' for 5 months now. So I know it was submitted correctly. I've just got a payement black hole around me.

That's a shame. :(
