Oh my my...I almost pulled the trigger on a GH1

[Everts]

Panasonic GH1 will die..

The more reason to release a GH II with free p2 cards .

The sample at dpreview is 30p and looks a bit soft. Very similar to T1i. Is that because of APS-C? We'll have to wait for more vids to pop up.

What I like:

• Weather sealed body
• Form Factor (small but very comfy - the grip is substantial)
• Improved noise filtering

[dcloud]

too bad for gh1. couldve competed. it was just too tiny.

[scubafoo]

Dang! Just got a GH1 and took it hiking but was a bit worried with the stereo mic sitting on top, perfectly poised to collect rain. My 30D definitely is better sealed than the GH1. The 7D would be a nice upgrade.

I'm wondering if this is the rumored 'video camcorder with aps-c sensor' or if that is still coming. interesting.

[KeeganFlynn]

This isn't the rumored camcorder with the dSLR sensor.
