well, hope it's fine and you like it as much as I like mine!!
when you get it, you have to make sure it is correctly assembled:
1. check for infinity focus: if it can't get a crisp horizon line, it's wrongly assembled
2. check for sharpness issues: if it can't resolve fine detail in the corners, it is wrongly assembled
3. check bokeh: it should be pretty nice
half of the leitz lenses I've bought had the first problem, which leads to 2 and 3 too; I think I've just been unlucky, but in the process I've learnt how to assemble and declick my lenses, which is also nice (the 35mm is one of the easiest models; requires some skill, but it can be done; if you're afraid, set your camera to record what you're doing, so you can go back and see how that weird black piece that's giving you trouble was originally assembled)

Well it's coming Monday so we'll see.
I've got a 28 that I managed to bugger up so had to send in for repair, part of the service was a collimation, so fingers crossed.
Probably the nicest lens I have is a 180 f/3.4 Apo-Telyte made by Leitz Canada
Shooting tomorrow with 28, 50, and 180 Leica as well as 20 Zeiss Flektogon, 35 SMC Takumar and a ghastly 85mm Jupiter. I'll try to stay with the Leica glass, the rest is "just in case". I hope to try the 35 on Tuesday.
