Canon 60D low light footage

How come BH photo is showing that 60D is not out yet. Where did you get yours from? How do you think it compares to the T2i. And what do you think it compares to the 5DM2 in lowlight. The 5D has a way bigger sensor of course....making it the best HDSLR as of yet for lowlight.

Just saw the footage. What was your shutter speed at and iso?
Still allot of noise in the blacks for me. But not bad.

I got my 60D on the 23'rd from Adorama. I don't know the street date on it. I ordered it a few months back when they were taking preorders.

I have a T2i as well. I like the 60D much better in a few ways. The 60D has manual audio controls with no AGC. So the his is gone from the audio tracks.

incremental ISO is great.

I am also really loving the flipout screen. I didn't think it was going to be that much of a help, but it is great.

For the money I think it is a great deal.

As for the 5D Mark II it is a beast, but at 2.5 times the cost. This is a great compromise on price/performance.

Shutter speed was 1/50th. ISO 5,000

I think the noise is coming from the compression. On my monitor I have no noise at all in the blacks. but on youtube I see alot more grain then in the original footage.

The 5D has a way bigger sensor of course....making it the best HDSLR as of yet for lowlight.

I know the 5DII is great but isn't the 1D mark V the best Canon and in terms of "Low Light Best" the Nikon can do 100,000 ISO.

Forgot to make my post relevant:

I so want a 60D. My T2i has about 100 hours and I love it, but that articulating screen is so choice.

aside from being able to adjust the ISO in finer increments, there should be no difference between the 60D and T2i in terms of shooting in low light, correct?

seems to me the 60D's rendition of color is same as 7D, just a touch red compared to 550D (T2i)...difference in handling white balance?

shooting in low light (noise) seems at par with both 7D & 550D
