Of course this is not meant to in any way replace or detract from this wonderful community, but the 1DC crowd is underrepresented and we tend to disappear into the sea of C100/300 posts and this camera deserves it's own forum, so I've created a wordpress.. I'm not a programmer so it's not gonna be fancy, but a place for us to exchange tips, tricks, settings, cine styles, options, and maybe even.. hacks? Sigh... if only. These cameras have tremendous capabilities and advantages - we need to show Canon we are a voice in the professional community and maybe advocate to stop being ignored and left behind for the newest models.. Why not C-log 3? Why not firmware to allow 10 bit or 444 out to a recorder at least?
Also I'd like to feature someone every week or month to share something they shot on the cam, talk about their rig, set-up and lighting they find best for different looks, how you've figured out how to get more and better images and op experiences through third party accessories etc. So please DM me your interest an dI will share the site on here and with you directly. This cam is seeing a resurgence with the significant pricedrop so I think it deserves a revival in discussion and sharing...Keep upi the good work, and bother Canon every chance you get to take us seriously - for a top of the line cine camera that started at 12K for just the body, I expect a little more than the constant improvements and support they offer for dslrs costing 1/3 the price.

I'd like to poll some users before my launch to have people to feature and tips to share, looking to launch this week, so please DM me your email - it won't be a big time commitment.
