Can you use HD screen on MacBookPro as monitor for live feed thur HVX?

I am trying to figure out how to configure Mac Book Pro laptop with HD screen to be monitor for shooting with HVX.

I figure maybe a firewire connection from camera into mac but is there a way to see image through camera? would it require running on quicktime or final cut pro to see image?

I am sure there are posts on this but I can not find what they are listed under.

Scopebox and HD Monitor do this.

The viewer/canvas in FCP are low resolution proxies.

Apparently, DVrack is now called OnLocation. It's part of the CS3 suite (Windows only). One wonders if this would work if you bootcamp to Windows on your Intel Mac. Hmmm ...​
