I just wanted to verify if you are importing your p2 footage in FCP, if you delete the clips in the p2 window are they deleted forever?
Can you delete video clips in FCP p2 import window?

To test this, I copied a p2 volume to the desktop, and did the log and transfer in FCP 6.0.1.
Selected all the clips and hit delete.
A warning indicated it was undoable.
I did it.
Everything was gone.
Yes, they are deleted forever.
