Kholi - Monsters is that the one with Scoot McNairy and Whitney Able?
Yeah, that'n, sir.
You can see the 35mm Adapter quirks all through it... but, that surely didn't stop it from going theatrical.

True, and they are absolutely right. The hilarious thing is that there are people with 1/20th of their budget or less, killing themselves to shoot on RED or some other "better" camera because they feel it can somehow make their movie better.
How come the red has come down in rental price anyone know? One person I was talking to said it was a pain to work with. As for me I never work with a Red so I have no clue.

Moire can become more or less previlent depending on focal length, Somtimes you can lessen or eliminate it by moving the camera closer or further to the problem area depending on what it is. Of course thats not always an option and therfore it can become a shot breaker and thats why so many hate shooting with Canon dslr's. Especially when its a paid job and the producer requests the canon dslr's, and you have to try to explain that the camera creates horrible moire problems, then they go " whats moire" errr.I think you missed my sarcasm there.
I did miss the sarcasm, sorry
Mind elaborating?

And then they're like, "That's fine." and then get the footage back and call you complaining because there are shimmering lines on people's clothing.
