Can P2 Log Pro work without FCP

I installed p2 log pro into my powerbook that doesn't have FCP & it doesn't play the mxf files. How can I make p2 log to work without FCP. Thanks

The DVCPRO HD codec is installed with FCP, so you can't play anything in that codec unless FCP is installed.

There is a utility at the company's web site that will extract the necessary codecs from the FCP install disc.

That utility makes it unnecessary to install FCP just view the clips.
 
Imagine Products directed me to a web page where I downloaded the DVCPRO HD codec so now I can use p2 log without FCP. Cool
