C100: Can I use a 9 stop ND filter plus built in ND's to shoot Solar Eclipse tomorrow?

I'm shooting tomorrow's solar eclipse with an Arri Alexa Studio. I chose that camera because it has an optical viewfinder.

I also got disability insurance and am hoping to retire soon.

Bad News is after researching, I'm not gonna take a chance. Might just take a few photos with my 5DM2, don't even want to risk my Sony A7RII to get damaged.
Good News is.. I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance.

Yep I guess - but burning a hole in your eye is poor business practice in our game.

Remembering recce-ing the Newquay eclipse exactly 24 hours before it happened. I managed to blat myself with a 600/4 and film camera with optical view finder in full sun. What a twat - still cant see properly as is apparent in my work.

I regularly shoot with the sun in the frame. Check any random demo reel online and I'm sure that you can find other people shooting with the sun in the background since back light and flares are deemed cinematic. I'm sure the sensor will be find.
