C200: Can anyone play 4K mxf 264 60p in Premiere Pro?

Has anyone ever tried to play back C200 4k 60p 8-bit footage in Premiere?

I Accidentally shot a 99-minute close up angle in 60p instead of 24p on the C200. In 8-bit mode. I can't get it to play smoothly in any of the last few versions of Premiere (2020, 219, 2018, etc.)

I have a powerful PC (i9 processor, RTX 2070, etc)

I've just realized, I don't think I have ever shot 60p to actually play at 60p. I have always shot 60p for slow motion. Can anyone make the 60p play nicely in Premiere? Or Ressolve for that matter?

Here's what it looks like: https://youtu.be/RujD_3mmLhE

Yes, and I am transdcoding, but I assumed an expensive PC purpose-built by Puget Systems specifically for editing 4K and above with Premiere Pro would be able to tackle the native file no problem.

I would like to know if something is wrong with my PC, or if virtually no computer can actually play the 4k60 h264 smoothly while editing.

Maybe a silly question but you do have GPU access enabled? A few people have had the issue that even though they have good GPU card like your 2070 it isn't actually engaged in Premiere. As you say Puget Systems build very good boxes but this point may be worth checking out:

A few years ago I built a 10-Core 6950X (3.5-4GHz) with 64GB RAM, EVGA FTW GTX1080 8GB (10-21% faster than stock 1080), Samsung 960 Pro 2TB M.2 (3.5GB/s read), Asus X99 Deluxe II MB, Corsair case + giant ~zero noise (mag-lev bearings) case fans and Noctua NH-D9L + 92mm fan (HSF), EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2 1000W Power Supply, 4TB 7200 WD Black, real sine wave UPS/conditioner, etc.

In Windows 10 Pro (latest + all updates), PP CC (latest), this machine easily plays X-T3 4K60 H.265, 4K60 1DX II 422 8-bit MJPG, ~6K Alexa 65/LF ArriRaw etc. Haven't tried C200 H.264 4K60 8-bit in .mxf OP1a- I'd expect that to work fine too. Happy to test a clip.

Here's Fuji 4K50 H.265, with a transition (two clips at once), while recording the screen in 4K with ffmpeg via OBS (so this is a bit heavier load than just 4K60). The 4K60 footage I had wasn't as interesting- still played back fine:

This is 4K on YT- any glitches during playback is the browser, PC, or network: it's totally smooth on the computer.

UPDATE: MP4 files seem to play ok. The MXF ones are the trouble. I thought they were the same bitrate and codec? Just extra metadata. Anyone know why the MXF's would play much worse on a powerhouse PC?

could be the inclusion of 4ch 24bit audio in the mxf codec that has a bit higher data rate as well 160Mbs instead of 150Mbs if i remember correctly

This machine plays C300 II 4K 10-bit .mxf at full speed. It’s possible that a specific version causes issues with decoders- can you upload a short clip for download that demonstrates the problem?

I only have an i7 860 with RX580 and 16GBs of RAM, but I tested in MPC-HC just as playback. MP4 has very slight stutter, MXF has a bit more stutter, with 1-2 heave stutters.
