Camera Plates - mount wanted

Hey Searcher

I am not sure why you need the receiver for that particular snap plate but in my case...I decided to go with this..

My AF102 camera has a Zacutto base on the Manfrotto unit with a euro plate to snap to the the heads. (Cartoni or Miller)

The plate on my 'Camera Slider' has another Manfrotto base permanently attached.

We can slide off the head to the Camera Slider in a flash.

This is a very tidy and cost effective solution for us. Those Manfrotto units are a steal at that price.

I meant to suugest that this solution may work for you , even with the smaller plate.

That's part of the reason. Sometimes being able to take the camera and lens off the rest easily and/or quickly is needed. For example, my handheld set up has a second Manfrotto quick release on it and I can quickly swap the camera body to my hand held rig. The other reason is it's easier to slide the camera back and forth for weight and/or lens adjustments. It works great.
