C500: C500 & O7Q question.

I have a C 500 and an O7Q with the latest firmware updates. Here is my question: With the camera in 2K mode but frame size set to 1920x1080 and YCrCb 10 bit there is a range of frame rates listed in the Slow and fast menu extending up to 60P . It seems the camera defaults to 59.94 basis when entering this mode. If I select 48 fps or any other frame rate between 24 and 60 can I actually record that frame rate? It seems on the surface that no matter what frame rate I select , the recording is actually a 59.94 recording like it or not.
Second question: With the camera in the same mode as above - is it possible to record a 23.98 or 29.97 standard frame rate? In 1920 x1080 10 bit RGB there are options for 23.98, 29.97 and 59.94 ( but no variable frame rates ) and the O7Q won't work with the camera in this mode.

We do not currently support the Canon Slow & Fast mode. Canon has enabled this functionality in a unique way so we cannot use our work from other systems to support it. We are currently at work to support the many outputs available from this camera. I don't have the camera in front of me at the moment, butI believe that you are correct that when the camera is in S&F mode we default to the underlying top frame rate.

thanks for the info Mitch. I had deduced that the frame rate was 59.94 no matter the camera setting , but wasn't sure if there was some other litttle known software settign that would enable the VFR wihen used with the C 500. Keep up the good work with the O7Q firmware. After a bit of a slow start with the O7Q , the last few firware updates are truly realizing the potential of the O7Q design.
