IIt biggest adjustment I had to make was learning out to expose properly to minimize noise since raw isn't de-noised out of the camera, but now Final Cut comes with a fast and easy to use de-noiser built in.
Thank you for this. Very helpful. How you are exposing to minimize noise? Before Prores Raw came out, I used a Shogun on a job because I wanted to expedite the post workflow, and avoid transcoding dailies to Prores for the editor. The noise was extreme. Unusable. Fortunately I also recorded internally so I could bury the Prores so the agency didn't see the footage and freak out. Anyway, I'd love to get usable Prores Raw out of the C300 Mark ii and would appreciate hearing more of your experience.
