C300: C300mark2 ion a Movi M15

I want to get the Movi Pro for my C300M2, but I don't know if it will fit, sicnce the cage seems to be quite tight, as it is with the M15.
I have the M10 with the old system, so the C300M2 fits on that.


Any of you have experiences with the C30M2 and the M15?
 
Are you saying the cage on the M15 is smaller than the cage on the M10?

Looks to me like the Movi Pro would fit a C300 Mark II. The Movi M5 fits the C300 Mark II.
 
you're assuming now.
the cage of the M15 is totally different than the one on the M5 & M10 (the original one, not the ugraded one).

I visit the freefly site all of the time, that's why I tried to see if anyone on the DVX site would have another user experience.
today I decided to place my order for the Movi Pro, I'll give it a try, if it doesn't work with my C300M2 I will pass it on to another person.

I have a standard size Letus Helix which will accommodate the Mk2 without a problem and use that rig quite a bit. I specifically like the fact that the camera is not underslung the way the Movi is designed as it makes for easier operating. Helix also has wifi so the mount can be configured by a free phone app which really speeds everything up tremendously when writing camera configurations. Also consider getting the Canon Wifi adapter for your mk2. With the camera wifi set up properly you have complete control over the camera via an iPad or mobile phone with a browser. This can be a real advantage when mounting the camera on a gimbal.

I'd do the exact same if I hadn't picked up the M15. Wasn't thinking they were going to offer such a great package in that price range. Guessed wrong. The new version looks pretty great. Hope it serves you well and look forward to hearing more about your experience.
