The EOS C300 Mark II Digital Cinema Camera (EF-Mount) updates will allow various functions such as support for the Canon EVF-V70 OLED Electronic Viewfinder, WFT-E8 Wireless File Transmitter, Shutter Angle Priority, support for Zebra range at 65 percent or below, 2K Crop Audio Recording, Built-In Mic Audio off, and Peripheral Illumination Correction when using the new EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM lens.

Any hope of some of those filtering down to the C100 MK2? Surely it would take negligible effort. Zebras below 70 and shutter angle priority would be really helpful.

"In response to user feedback, Canon has made image-processing improvements to Canon Log 2 to improve overall image quality. The original 15-stop Canon Log 2 gamma curve remains unchanged. However, with this update to Canon Log 2, you’ll see reductions in low-level and chromatic noise across the entire image area, but especially affected is the low-level noise. Another benefit will be the reduction of ‘streaking levels’ -- an imaging phenomenon sometimes referred to as ‘luminance banding’ or ‘CMOS smearing,’ which occurs when an object with very bright luminance in a scene bleeds into adjacent dark areas of a shot".

I am happy to see that Canon has embraced the path of significant and meaningful upgrades with the C300 Mk2 Which have added important features . WIth the Mk 1 the firmware updates were infrequent and sort of lightweight in importance, but with the Mk 2 this has changed. Please keep them coming.
