C300: C200 MK HDMI trouble.

I use a small HD DP4 monitor with the c300 when shooting with the camera on a Helix. I recently switched to the C300 mk2 which works equally well on the helix , but the HDMI output from the mk2 does not work with the Small HD DP4. The HDMI output is active but somehow the monitor doesn't see the signal. Could it be that the Mk2 out puts 10 bit instead of the 8 bit output of the MK 1?

Ok - Let me ask it this way, Is everybody that is using the Mark 2 having a happy experience with HDMI monitoring or are some people finding that their HDMI monitors won't display the signal coming out of the c300 Mk2?

I'm not using HDMI on my mine, but I've from several people I know the DP series monitors can't handle the S/Q frame rates the MK2 puts out.

S/Q frame rate? whazzat? I'm just hoping to see an image on the DP 4 at either 23.98 or 29.97. Is there another Small HD monitor that can handle the Mk2 HDmi output?
I have sent a query in to Small HD via email but haven't received a response so far.

I haven't had any issues feeding HDMI to an encoder nor an EVF albeit @ 25p. Seem's odd that there would be problem with DP4. I'm assuming it's all set up correctly in menu?

Edit: Just tried on Odyssey 7Q also without a problem.

My 7Q does not have a problem displaying HDMI signal from a Mk 2, but the DP 4 doesn't recognize the HDMI input from the Mk2

Hey Mark, I'm wondering if you ever found a solution to your problem. I've been trying to monitor my C300 Mk II with a SmallHD DP4 to no avail. It's too bad because I like the size of the monitor for lightweight handheld setups, otherwise I'm stuck carrying my TvLogic which feels too big.

This is the only post I've been able to find on the matter, though I hope maybe you've found something out over a year later!

Cheers

I have a production monitor that won't see the HDMI from the MK II. If I pass it through a converter or another monitor it will fix the issue, but I haven't found a setting that allows the HDMI to work with the monitor.
