C100: C100 with the Blackmagic Video Assist feedback? 2:3 pulldown

Unfortunately, I don't speak Russian!

How does the footage look to you? Any problems?

Also, can the Video Assist be triggered by the C100's record button?

Not necessarily the knowledge of the Russian language - just watch the video and everything will be clear. The video quality is very good 10 Bit 4.2.2 Pro Res HQ. Yes the Video Assist be triggered by the C100's record button. To record from a camcorder operates Timecode (all of which I show in my video review). The file is also written in the same timecode C100. 25pf C100 + BMVA. No filters and correction is not performed. The starting frame and an increase of about 5X: https://yadi.sk/d/VnHEsxqnkXJNM

Thanks for sharing this information. I went back and watched your video. I don't think that most people know that the remote triggering is working, so that was a nice surprise.

At one point, you started a recording in ProRes HQ but then pointed out a red line that appears on the right side of the screen before hitting the stop button. Is that for a dropped frame? Have you been able to avoid this problem by using faster cards?

I did test on the cards SanDisk 45 MB/s - they write without dropped frame in Pro Res (Pro Res HQ not enough speed cards SanDisk of 45 мб/с). For the Pro Res HQ I use transend 95/60 MB/s is no dropped frame.

I have a question. Im using BM video assist for focusing on my C100s. Do you have same issue, that video on monitor clipping? Sometimes, when subject is fast its hard to get it in focus.

I haven't noticed that problem on my setup with a C100 II. I have had problems with focussing on fast subjects but can't blame that on the hardware - (operator error tends to be the issue). I haven't noticed any latency issues either though I haven't been watching for that specifically.
