Anybody have links to cheap, fast c-mount lenses that will do infinity?
-Or know how to modify my lens so it will work?

I don't know how good it works with non-messed up c-mount lenses, but the camera uses the mount fine. Here's where I got mine:

Addendum: It works pretty good for video too
you have to make sure the rear part of the lens has a diameter of less than 37mm to sit properly in the adapter to focus and get infinity. to modify you have to make sure it can be machined down to that dimension with a depth of at least 3mm according to my adapter either by hand with a good old file or on a lathe.
What c mount are you using? I need a damn c mount that works! lol
I got a C-mount adapter from Siolex - they are based in Germany - and it works really well.

Haven't been online for awhile but wanted to post I figured out what was wrong with the c-mount adapter.
The locking pin on the GH1 was not sitting deep enough in the hole in the adapter. Thus tricking the GH1 into thinking it wasn't mounted right. The hole in the adapter for the pin was not deep enough, so I just drilled a hole the same diameter as the locking pin, and BAM works perfect!
