At this level id go to a dealer and try em. (Both Sony and Red have been very accommodating to me)
It is worth remembering that the F55 is somewhat restricted on frame rate at 4k
Also worth a visit is the Panny Varicam which looks to be fantastic (for example doing sound and slomo and 4k and lutted proxies at the same time!)
Of course Red must be in the running too.

One stays on the shoulder more often the not, the other is mostly shot on sticks from what I have seen.
They take a completely different range and style of lens as well.
No. Super 35 for all the cameras mention except the Red which has a full size sensor.
What's a " full size" sensor? You mean full frame 35mm? Red dragon is not full frame and it's not much larger than S35 for 16:9, and MX is even smaller.
Both dragon and my are not "FF" which is a 35mm (still) film size....but since they are wider and not as tall dragon comes pretty close in diagonal.....focal length multiplier for dragon is only 1.1, mx a little more (1.3?) Both at highest resolution....5k on dragon is actually slightly smaller then 5k on mx....What's a " full size" sensor? You mean full frame 35mm? Forget resolution as well..! Look at the film In Time, one of the first shot by Alexa, and watch it alongside a Fincher film shot in 5k on Red. You would say they both look good, and you would probably not realise that In Time was actually shot in 1080p ProRes!! Because a good 1080 image is very very good. Not every 1080p is made equal..
Good 1080p beats bad 4K any day.
