I mainly hope for those that invested they get their cameras in August and can begin shooting with them...but yeah seeing some footage would be cool too.![]()
Thanks Razz, hope you'll be shooting soon too!
I wasn't able to do the Kickstarter purchase. I'll be preordering for the second run.
They should seriously send you one for free, ha
The images look very nice. If they can get this working the people that ordered these are going to be very happy.
Very promising. Raw .DNGs look nice. There's no obvious sign of the quadrant issue. They look a touch green/yellow when viewed under Rawstudio, but boosting the blue channel a bit makes them look more natural.
Encouraging.
Stu Maschwitz graded those DNGs too, his version looks even better:

Plus the skin looks orange and completely unnatural. People will see what they want to see, but imo I have seen way better images even out of C300, not to mention BMDCC.To be honest, the corrected versions don't look good at all. The highlights are a bit much. I'd bring the levels down some.
I think its fine if you're going for that style. It has the VSCO look to it. Popular with photographers. I don't think its that bad reallyTo be honest, the corrected versions don't look good at all. The highlights are a bit much. I'd bring the levels down some.
