Hey,

Sorry to spam the forum, it' just that both of these tests finished at the same time.
Photography by Diana Levine - http://www.dianalevine.com

5DMKII with Canon L Series Zooms and Diana made custom masks. I think this stuff came out awesome and I hope we can use it on a commercial soon.

Cheers,

Matt

Cut ovals for each focal length = great anamorphic bokeh imitation.

Did this a while back, it's a really fun experiment. Surprised more people don't do it.

Just joined Dvxuser to respond :)

Thanks for your question - I cut the plates myself (out of cardstock) with an exacto knife.

All my best,
Diana

Wait has the Diana camera made a comeback or are you an aperture making machine?

EDIT: I thought you were joking, Diana is a toy camera with a lot of funky lenses. Sorry. ; )

Haha, I'm a photographer named Diana, how could I not be familiar with the Diana camera? ;)

The flickr link was a good explanation, thanks for posting!
