Been reading posts on cheesycam.com bout using the zoom h1 with lav mic for interviews instead of usual sennheiser wireless kits, that cost lots and occasionally do give problems ( specially if you are at a conference with several crews using them.. it has happened )
I have been using this combination for quite a while with my H2, and usually i use headphones with a long cable to monitor audio recorded on the zoom.
Then last week i had an idea: use a bluetooth transmitter connected to headphones output of zoom , and use a bluetooth receiver ( maybe you can even use iphone or other A2DP bluetooth protocol device) so you can monitor what's being recorded with no cables.
this is the bluetooth transmitter i got here in italy:

while this is the receiver:

i have made a quick test, very spartan and quick, was my first attempt.. for general interview stuff it works... should be able to reach 10m with no obstacles, but i ran out of space in house....

so actually i think this is an even better solution than a wireless mic system, because mic and recorder are connected via cable, and you can monitor what's going on without having bad looking cables around..
