OK, I'm in the process of building a home-made DOF adapter for my hv20 (jetsetmodels.info), so I'll need some manual control lenses very soon. Since my budget is as low as it can get, and since I'm in no way pretending to be the next insert_here_your_favourite_director, I thought about getting some cheap vintage lenses to start with.
I found some cheap fast lenses locally, I KNOW they are far from being the best lenses of the hill, but to start...May actually work. Here's the list:
Zenit 28mm f/2.8 (M42 mount) $ 15
Olympus OM-system Zuiko Auto-s 50mm f/1.8 (OM Mount, Japanese) $22
Helios 44M-x 58mm f/2 (M42 Mount, Russian) $17
Hanimex (apparently a rebrand of CHINON, MD Mount) 135mm f/2.8 (Couldn't find much info on this one) $37
(I'm quite sure the seller is willing to let them go for a few $$$ less)
Now, bear in mind that I don't live in the States, and that here photography equipment costs 2x the price you pay there (and importing stuff is the same, the customs kill you).
What do you say? For something like a hundred I could have a lot of ground covered...Now, since my adapter will have EOS mount, how difficult (and expensive) will it be to get the adapters? Is it worth it?
