Bloom: 7D & 5dmkII TESTED on BIG SCREEN for Lucas. Shot / Tested at Skywalker Ranch!

Wow awesome footage like always. What a great opportunity to film there. Also read the article it must have been crazy to have George Lucas and Quentin Tarantino review your footage. How cool that must have been:thumbsup:

Wow, imagine that. The 7D and 5D II shoot good enough video for a 40 foot screen at Skywalker Ranch for Lucas and Tarantino but not good enough for some amateurs on this forum who moan about its aliasing and its lack of resolving video! :cheesy:

Man, that is so awesome... and then Ben Burtt walks in. My hero... Good on you Philip! Sounds like an experience and then some.

Hey now watch what you say, some of those guys are pros :)

Great job and great Article Phillip. Lots of people will want to know how these held up on giant screen. The question is ubiquitous around here, so - stickied .

A friend sent me the link to the article in an email saying that his favorite line was:
“George said to Quentin, come see this.”
Pretty cool.

Philip, that's the footage I've seen from you yet. Wonderful. Lake / mist was awesome.

Really great shots, composition, timelapses... And I loved the fact that it's not another "people in the park" movie (no offense here but some older footage sometimes had this "demo the cam" feel to it).

Great to see there's a real visual narrative going on.
